V1: The first verse can be taken in at least two ways as is evident from the two renderings of translation. The introductory sentence informs us either that instructions on being made whole or a discussion on Yoga follows. This may mean the same thing, dependant upon your definition and translation of the word YOGA.
V2: In one translation, we are informed that Yoga is ‘the restraint of the modifications of the mind-stuff’. the other tells us that wholeness is the control over awareness and being. Once again, these are basically the same in meaning, if you consider how awareness is generally obtained
