Other Asana - goddess pose

Start by standing with your legs wide apart. Your feet should face forward and your arms hang by your sides. Raise both arms sideways until they extend directly outward parallel to the floor.

Bend your feet 45 degrees outward each to it’s own side. Bend your knees allowing your hips and body to approach the floor slightly. Do not let your knees stick out beyond your toes

Other Asana - mudra pose

Kneel and sit backwards on your feet, the top of which should be facing the floor. Place your hands on your thighs with palms downward. Whilst retaining an erect spine, bring your arms behind your back and clasp your hands together behind you. As you inhale, push your hands away from the shoulders and your body, extending your arms straight behind you.

As you exhale, tip forwards at the hips, bringing your face toward the floor in front of yourself. Remember to keep your back and neck straight. Inhaling, raise your arms upward behind you, keeping them straight. You should continue to raise your straightened arms until they point upward and your forehead and nose reach the floor in front of you. The pose should be hold for approximately one minute before releasing it on an inhale by pulling backward hands first.

Other Asana - ‘little boat twist’

Lying on your back, bend both legs up towards and onto your chest - as if doing wind pose. Extend both arms out to their respective sides at right angles to your body.

Little boat pose continues on an exhale, at which point you roll your still-bent legs over to the right hand side of the body and down onto the floor. You need to keep the top half of your back along with your shoulders connected to the floor to benefit most

Other Asana - ‘rock the baby’

Starting in either Lotus or easy pose, hold your right foot in your left hand and your right knee with your right hand. Placing your right foot into your left elbow crease, place the right knee into the right elbow. To ensure you are doing the pose correctly, your lower leg should be horizontal.

Lowering your arms to a horizontal position, hug your right leg in towards your body. Without bending your back or neck, rock your leg sideways in conjunction with your breathing between 4 and 12 times before lowering the leg and repeating the other side
