Easter used to mean something very different to me than it currently does. Once, it meant that a tray covered in a tea towel would be presented to me before breakfast on Sunday morning. Under the covering would be all my chocolate gifts - usually a rabbit, egg cup, chocolate eggs, and other goodies. These days it simply means that there will be no mail delivery for a few extra days….
Food and mail - hmm, not very Yoga-connective, perhaps. However, in one way they are! Reading and practicing Yoga has definitely changed my diet. Although my Buddhist practice may have changed it more, Yoga definitely has more than a small influence on my choices and changes. As for the mail, well… if I do not have anything to distract me, there may be extra time for practice
Hopefully the energy will remain and I will get back to a full session of Yoga each morning soon. I have been far too tired to feel energetic early mornings lately, and am not able to stay in bed long enough to get the sleep I need at the current time.
My Yoga session was getting far shorter than I wished, until I was beginning to wonder if I could even manage a 5-minute practice accompanied by odd 1-2 minute poses throughout the day. I simply had to focus on the meditative and breathing aspects and become a dropout on the physical
