Sleep is extremely important to health for the majority of people. I did not realize how much I need to just lay down for an extended period of time, if not actually sleep, until recently, though.
Previously, I have usually slept whenever I chose for however long - the exceptions being troublesome times in my life - (such as when my ex spent 4-5 hours having dinner at his parents each night and then turning up at 11-12pm expecting me to be happy to see him, yet knowing full well I got up at 5am… or when my ex sent people to purposefully stand outside my home and talk loudly all through the night until the local neighbors thought it ‘fun’ to do so themselves) - until now
