December 15th 2010 17:54
JAN 20-23:
EVENT: Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga Retreat at Denman Island, British Columbia
QUOTE: This immersion weekend of Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga will teach you how to embody skills that you can use throughout your lifetime, that provide a sense of confidence when encountering difficult situations, and teach how to embody joy and well-being throughout your daily life.
Restorative Yoga is a perfect complement to the practice of Yoga Nidra. As we practice Restorative Yoga, we are encouraged to allow the body to be supported in restful variations of traditional Yoga poses, such as backbends, forward bends, twists and inversions. This practice allows for a return to wholeness, a re-member-ing of the whole and healing body.
