From the 18-20th April this year, there is a Yoga conference & exhibition to be held at Sydney's Hall 2, Darling Harbor. For the price of $160 - $140 for Yoga teachers - you receive entry to the Yoga 08 Industry Conference, admittance to the Yoga Industry Dinner, and also to a concert from Sacred Earth. On the Saturday and Sunday, there is to be an exhibition including demos and classes, provided by more than thirty exhibitors. You do not have to be a part of the conference to enjoy the exhibition - tickets costing $17 PD for the exhibition are also available. This ticket will also allow your entry to the Fitness Expo Event.
The conference starts with a 9am registration on Friday 18. A welcome session and talks from Professor Marc Cohen and Swami Niranjan follow. Lunch is sandwiched between two workshops, which are followed by a third. Talks from Michael De Manincor and Simon Borg-Olivier follow, with a panel discussion completing the main events. A special dinner is set for 6-30pm, followed by a performance from Sacred Earth. There is also to be an after-party at an undisclosed destination.
The exhibition commences at 10-15am on the Saturday and Sunday. There will be talks, musical performances and demonstrations on the main stage through until 4-30pm. At Studio one, you can catch classes, demonstrations and presentations from Sarasvati Yoga, Trinity Yoga, Dru Yoga, Power Yoga, Yoga Synergy, Iyengar Yoga, & Elixr Yoga. In Studio two, you will find Bryon Yoga, Samadhi Yoga, Knoff Yoga, Crazy2Calm Kids Yoga, Nature Care Yoga, Bikram Yoga, & Body Mind Life Yoga offering sessions.
