What styles of Yoga are available?
The style of yoga taught at Dharma are Raja and Hatha Yoga.
What classes are currently running?
Hatha classes ranging from prenatal, postnatal, children,beginners, gentle to dynamic. We also provide philosophy, meditation and teacher training courses.
How long has your establishment been offering Yoga practice to the community?
Dharma Yoga was established in 1993
On average, how many visitors practice with you each week?
On average we have around 200 plus students attending classes weekly.
What features/facilities does your Center offer that others do not?
I am not sure what other centers offer. As well as Hatha classes, we offer massage, physiotherapy, hypnotherapy, naturapathy, waxing and spraytanning we also produce our own meditation and relaxation CDs and prenatal DVD.
Does your center offer Yoga instruction in areas other than Asana/Pranayama?
Yes as above we provide other courses as well as Asana and Pranayama in our centre.
What is/are the cost of a class/series of classes?
We have many options for payment. Single classes $18, students can purchase classes in multiple of five or unlimited for a cheaper rate.
How long have you been practicing Yoga?
I have been studying Raja Yoga for thirty years and Hatha Yoga since the early eighties.
What would you say is the most beneficial aspect of Yoga?
Each individual which attend our Yoga Centre, practice yoga for different reasons such as physical health, mental clarity, recovery from physical injuries, relaxation, meditation, etc. I myself practice and study yoga for the sole purpose of self realization.
Which is your personal favorite Asana?
I do not have a preference for Asana as each has a purpose for its practice.
