How long has your establishment been offering Yoga practice to the
community?
I have been teaching for the past 8 years.

On average, how many visitors practice with you each week?
About 90 students attend classes each week.

What features/facilities does your Center offer that others do not?
A fully equipped studio with all mats, blankets, cushions and stools
provided in a light, airy room looking out to the escarpment, in a charming heritage listed building.

Does your center offer Yoga instruction in areas other than asana/pranayama?
Yes every class includes the deep relaxation practice of Satyananda Yoga Nidra which is a simple guided meditation practice, developed by Swami Satyananda from an ancient yoga practice. This is used as an introduction to meditation in beginners classes and then all other classes include various yoga meditation practices.

What is/are the cost of a class/series of classes?

A 9 week term costs $100 or $65 concession.

How long have you been practicing Yoga?
I have been practising yoga for 22 years.

What would you say is the most beneficial aspect of Yoga?
The practical application of yoga in everyday life to bring balance and harmony into my life.

Which is your personal favorite asana?
As the emphasis in our tradition is not on asanas and just the physical aspect of yoga my favourite yoga practice is Satyananda Yoga Nidra. I do this practice every day to renergise and have found it invaluable at times of stress or ill health.
