Other Asana - ‘rock the baby’

Starting in either Lotus or easy pose, hold your right foot in your left hand and your right knee with your right hand. Placing your right foot into your left elbow crease, place the right knee into the right elbow. To ensure you are doing the pose correctly, your lower leg should be horizontal.

Lowering your arms to a horizontal position, hug your right leg in towards your body. Without bending your back or neck, rock your leg sideways in conjunction with your breathing between 4 and 12 times before lowering the leg and repeating the other side.

Although this pose sounds simple and gentle, it can be very difficult to maintain correct horizontal alignment.
