Other Asana - Thread the needle pose

Start this pose by kneeling on the ground and placing both hands on the floor directly under your shoulders as you rise from sitting on your knees and tip forward. You should now be balanced on your hands and knees and under curled toes.

Move your right hand underneath your body keeping the palm upward and slide it further to the left as you exhale. Your right hand should now be extended beyond your left side. It should be under your chest.

Dip sideways to the right, so that your shoulder touches the floor and your right ear also. Your left arm should bend at the elbow and remain relaxed. Hold the pose for around a minute before release and repeating on the alternate side.
