Tibetan Heart Yoga - practice
May 8th 2010 09:28
I found a couple of matters that I have recently noticed whilst practising THY worth sharing.
During the actual main practice, concentrating on the wish to offer special giofts such as joy, wisdom, stillness, etc become the focus of the mind. After the main practice, within life itself, ways of actually doing this often tend to crop up. I wonder if this is only because I have been focussed on these points or if they would be there anyway and I simply would not have noticed them?
I have also noticed that following a Yogic diet assists me to be aware of these opportunities more. Before, I might not have been energetic enough to do more than crawl through the essentials of my day and collapse. If I had been, I would probably not have been open enough to opportunities arising or have bothered using them.
The combination of extra opportunity and extra ability lead me to actually be able to put into practice the wishes I generate during the Yoga session itself. This is apparently the idea of THY, so I must be doing it right!!!!
