Swami Satchidananda
Swami Satchidananda's Integral Yoga combines Asana and philosophy from major branches of Indian Yoga practices. It was established approximately 35-40 years ago and is now practiced in the US, Australia and Europe as well as in India.
Swami Satchidananda's Integral Yoga combines aspects of Asana, Pranayama, Yogic diet, the Kriyas, meditation, devotion, madras and mantras. These are taken from Hatha, Raja, Bhakti, Karma, Jnana, and Japa Yoga practices.
From Sri Swami Satchidananda himself: "Yoga believes in transforming the individual before transforming the world. Whatever change we want to happen outside should happen within. If you walk in peace and express that peace in your very life, others will see you and learn something."
