Yoga Styles: Zen Yoga

Zen Yoga unites physical health, mental lucidity and spiritual peace. It works on both the body and the mind. Zen Yoga incorporates gentle stretching with Shanti Pranayama stemming from the philosophy of Qigong, movements of Tai Chi, and the internal serenity of Zen meditation.

Zen Yoga was created by Aaron Hoopes in 2002, and operates around the following ideas - slowing down, expanding your compassion, proper nutrition and exercise for the body, calming the mental activities, honoring your spirit and loving your inner YOU. Aaron Hoopes spent more than 20 years studying martial arts, Yoga and several Eastern healing traditions.
