V12: We are now informed that we can control these mental movements, and can do this through practice and non-attachment/participation. (This also lies along similar lines to my Buddhist study, meaning that I have already started to do this.)
V13: We are now told what ‘practice’ consists of - the continuity of steadiness. A stabilization of the mentality - I see this as being similar to a balanced scale where each weight is identical, rather than a constantly shifting see-saw effect as right and wrong moves bounce the scale erratically.
V14: We are now advised to keep at it, not take breaks from trying to achieve it, and be carefully attentive and earnest in our attempt to steady the mind.
V15: The objective is ‘non-attachment’ - to obtain a stability in which there is no craving towards objects that arise whether they are seen or heard.
