Yoga thoughts - 10

One of the things I have noticed about Yoga and Buddhism, is that in many ways they merge and share aspects that could be combined in practice. Both may include meditation and dietary changes for instance. I decided that when I finally get time to myself rather than working/being on call for 16 HPD, I would like to combine my two practices.
The first items would blend well - I just need the time to actually practice in one sitting, rather than on and off throughout whatever free time I have, as I do at the moment.
I would start with Dzogchen Morning Sky Breath and then enter Savasana. Continuing with leg raises, fart poses and then the bridge pose, I would next practice some Pranayama exercises before continuing into the forward stretch and then recite my Refuge Prayer. This could be followed by neck rolls and the triangle pose and then the initial session might be completed with Surya Namaskar (mini version) and Savasana with 108 Om Mani's on my mala beads whilst laying down...
This would leave me to practice a 30 minute Tibetan Heart Yoga session and study my Buddhism books later in the day, along with various Yoga asanas as I progressed... Now, I just have to wait until I have at least an hour both early and later on.....
