Yoga thoughts - 13

I have been wondering about purchasing a replacement manual. When I lived in Australia, I had picked up a Sivananda Yoga manual from the library book sales for AU$1. I found it very useful when first starting up for explaining the basics of an all-round Yoga practice, basic asanas and pranayama practices, and Yogic diet information. I have read a lot more Yoga books since, but never bought another one..... yet.
When I moved to England to take care of my father, I could not cram the book into my suitcase. I had to fit a 3-bedroom house into 2.5 suitcases, and that did not leave much room for books. On arrival, I did find a Yoga manual in the bookcase - a Richard Hittleman one for getting in shape. I do not practice Yoga to get thin and trim though - so it is of little use other than amusement and a memory of my mother's attempts to lose weight during my childhood.
I did bring my Tibetan Heart Yoga book with me, but I am looking for a more general Yoga practice. I love doing THY, but I do not often have enough time to complete a practice routine - and I always have to focus my ears downstairs in case Dad hollers for something. This distracts me from the matters at hand...
I may see if the local libraries have a Yoga manual similar to the one I had before on hand in their book sales - otherwise, I shall treat myself to a new Sivananda manual for Christmas!
