Yoga thoughts - 2

When ‘wonderful, new, waterproof, no-care’ sheds turn into ‘impossible pieces of plastic that do not fit, will not slot in place, but snap, bend and break’ or ‘I give up….’, an extra five minutes Savasana is just as helpful as an enormous bloodcurdling scream, a bottle of beer, or pulling your hair out - and is far less harmful.

When fasting and your tummy rumbles and you really want to eat something although you know that you do not ‘need’ to - you can always think to yourself of the Yoga session you could not do if you had just shoveled a ton of food into yourself.

When you have a 16 hour workday and 24 hour on call day 7/7 with no vacations and your job includes cleaning, gardening, cooking, health caring, and more, if you didn’t do Yoga - how on earth would you have the ability to continue to stay healthy enough to handle it?
