Yoga thoughts - 8

After two nights of rest and sleep, I had recovered sufficiently to feel in the mood to try out a new asana to add to my repertoire. The fact that I was able to get enough rest alone had my body feeling more energetic, so when my leg raises felt good rather than a drag, I decided to try out something new later on.
Later on I did indeed have a shot at the Camel pose for the first time ever. Previously, my body has told me not to dare to try it! For once, my body was saying yeah, have a go - I will let you today. It was as if my body was actually strong enough to support me as I got into the pose, which previously had been a bit iffy, so not attempted.
I am not going to add it into my daily session as a ‘regular’ - but it feels great to finally have a new-to-me asana on the list for ‘sometimes’ inclusion after so long of feeling too pooped to do more than a basic session…
