Studying Yoga texts - Patanjali or …. intro
June 17th 2010 18:05
I had decided to begin on the Patanjali Yoga Sutras tonight. I located a website which apparently had a copy in English, and saved the page whilst considering other texts. When returning to the page to collect the text and begin to read and study, I was denied access.
My second attempt led me to a website with multiple copies of the translated work - so, once again, not a simple task to select ONE translation and begin to work on it…
However, my first lesson learned from my attempted study is that while searching for the text, I discovered another great Yoga book I want to read - that is a free download! I also discovered a website where a list of Yogic texts is available, giving me some more ideas for when I complete my study of Patanjali, the Vedas, and this new book…
I will sort through my findings and then offer you links to the first text I choose shortly.
